On April 1,1983, in Florida, USA, six businessman friends, who shared a love for beer and spicy chicken wings, came together to open the very first HOOTERS American restaurant.
To this day, HOOTERS locations worldwide continue to embody the original spirit in their décor, menu, and server uniforms, staying true to the Miami Beach-inspired theme that creates a relaxed dining atmosphere.

1983
HOOTERS made its grand debut in Florida, USA.

1997
The first HOOTERS in Taiwan opened on Cingcheng Street, Taipei.
From the moment it opened, it quickly became a significant symbol of American restaurant culture. Known for its passionate service, unique sports bar atmosphere, and signature buffalo wings, it successfully set the trend of gathering with friends to watch sports events at the restaurant.

2019
HOOTERS Xinyi Store location opened.
Hooters Xinyi opened in 2019 in Taipei’s bustling Xinyi District, capturing the attention of both loyal patrons and new visitors. Guests can enjoy classic American cuisine while taking in close-up views of Taipei’s iconic landmarks and vibrant cityscape.
The exclusive terrace with stunning scenery has become a must-visit photo hotspot in Xinyi. With its spacious and stylish high-ceiling design, it has also become a trendy venue for modern weddings.
2022
HOOTERS Zhubei Store location opened.
Located in the Far Eastern Department Store in Zhubei, Hsinchu, HOOTERS Zhubei quickly became a popular dining destination. Known for its unique American style, energetic and friendly service, and comfortable dining environment, it has won over many customers.
With daily live performances and interactive games, HOOTERS creates a lively social atmosphere, attracting Hsinchu Science Park professionals looking to relax and connect. It has become one of Zhubei’s most popular gathering spots.
